SIAC – Serviço Integrado de Atendimento ao Cidadão

Client: MAPESS Programa FTD

Delivered in full operation in 2007, SIAC – Integrated Service for Citizen Care – represents a change in Angola’s public service concept. In a partnership with the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security (MAPTESS), the project aimed to meet an urgent need for the Angolan society at the time: resuming the provision of public services with quality and efficiency in the country’s restructuring period.

SIAC integrates 12 public institutions offering over 90 services to citizens based on the principles of transparency, functionality and humanization of care. As in all cooperation projects, Prado Valladares took part in the following SIAC development stages: architecture and engineering design, equipment and material specification, content design (terms of reference and operating manuals), training of local operations staff, work supervision, technical support to implementation and initial stage of operation.
